A self-cleaning pump screen filter attached to the end of the pump suction line is the first opportunity to keep large debris out of the pump and irrigation system. All water must pass through the screen before entering the pump intake pipe, thus preventing sticks, leaves, fish, turtles, etc. from entering. Rotating sprays blast away debris trapped on the screen.
