IQ4 continues to improve performance and expand functionality. The most recent major feature rollout delivered highly requested features to users. Download the training presentation.
Log Retrieval Alarm Automatic Clear
IQ4 issues an alarm when log retrieval from the controller is unsuccessful. These alarms previously required manual acknowledgement and clearing. New for this feature rollout, a successful retry of log retrieval will automatically clear the previous alarm notifications. Alarm history will still be available. Automatic clearing is a configurable option that you can disable.
Under Controller Settings, you can seleted to Auto Acknowledge Alarms

Calculate Scheduled End Times
Under the program tab, you can now calculate scheduled end times based on your irrigation program. This calculation accounts for settings such as Cycle + Soak™ and Flo-Manager® giving you a more accurate understanding of your expected schedules.
Schedule Email Reports
IQ4 offers powerful reporting on various metrics of your irrigation system’s performance. Now you can schedule these reports to distribute daily via email, making regular monitoring and reporting easier. You can also select not to send reports on days when irrigation is not scheduled, eliminating blank reports.
Added “Change” Button for IP Address Field
You can change the IP address using the "change" button. This is an important update for users who may be migrating from a 3G network communication cartridge to a 4G version, or for when you are changing communication protocols.
New Diagnostics Capability in IQ4
IQ4 can now initiate controller-specific diagnostics from any computer or mobile device. Previously diagnostics were only available at the controller interface, Available diagnostics are dependent on the controller in use and include “Test All Stations” or “Ping Decoders” options. Additional Bug Fixes and Additions
- Corrected Metric Units - previous versions of IQ4 may have output incorrect values for flow rates in metric. These unit values are now correct.
- Flow log graphs now export into CSV files correctly
- Chinese language option added
