Ideal for small-size lawn, shrub, and garden areas, the adjustable Rain Bird R-VAN on Spike provides uniform coverage on par with automatic sprinkler systems, now offered on a metal spike for use with a garden hose. Place it anywhere you would use lawn sprinklers and get beautiful, greener results. The R-VAN offers an adjustable rotation range from 45° to 270° and sprays at a distance of 17' to 24'. How to Adjust Pattern and Distance
NOTE: Water must be turned ON in order to set the Arc and Radius Adjustment.
1. Push down and turn the Arc Adjustment Cap counterclockwise to decrease the arc.
2. Push down and turn the Arc Adjustment Cap clockwise to increase the arc.
1. Turn the Radius Adjustment Dial counter-clockwise to decrease the nozzle range.
2. Turn the Radius Adjustment Dial clockwise to increase the nozzle range. A clicking sound will be heard when range limits are reached.
