Even after nearly 90 years in the industry, Rain Bird continues to find new ways to keep plants healthy with less water consumption, including by launching new software and hardware to serve our landscaping and agricultural customers. Whether you’re a homeowner looking for tips for saving water or a golf course manager thinking about smart irrigation, Rain Bird is ready to work with you to use water intelligently. Our mobile app works seamlessly with our products so our customers can take control of their irrigation needs. 

Many of our products use two innovative technology features, FloManager and FloWatch, to make water use more efficient. FloManager helps customers allocate water based on need and availability, while FloWatch uses flow sensors to monitor flow rates. Together these features guarantee that plants are properly irrigated without overflooding or overuse. Our products make certain that our customers have the water they need, when and where they need it, without waste. 

To help customers use our products appropriately and to instill our mission of the Intelligent Use of Water across the industry, Rain Bird offers training to both professionals and people new to irrigation, including some free of cost. Tutorials about our products are available on our YouTube channel so our customers can easily get going with the smart irrigation tools they need.

Giving Back To Our Communities

Rain Bird’s commitment to conservation and the Intelligent Use of Water doesn’t stop with our products and services. We are deeply involved in our communities and donate water-conserving irrigation products to our local schools and community green spaces. This past summer, we partnered with other organizations to improve the irrigation systems at Island Harvest Food Bank’s Healthy Harvest Farm so the farm could continue its mission of providing healthy produce for Long Islanders in need. We’re always looking for ways to help our neighbors use water efficiently!
