Our Landscape District Sales Manager operates as a technical and sales consultant/brand ambassador to train, influence and aide choice makers in the irrigation industry. This includes but is not limited to Distributors, Irrigation contractors, Maintenance Agencies and Public Agencies within the assigned area in Germany. The goal is to increase product and solutions knowledge, improve technical support and drive sales for Rain Bird products and solutions by increasing market share.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop the existing distribution network in the assigned territory in coordination with the Area Sales Manager for Central Europe.
  • Increase Rain Bird’s market share with Distributors, Main Contractors and Maintenance agencies.
  • Establish and implement strategies that deliver increased knowledge and promotes sales within the assigned territory.
  • Develop relationships with targeted Irrigation Consultants, Contractors, Maintenance Agencies and Corporate Accounts at the decision maker level.
  • Closely coordinate with the sales team within the territory to identify customers who represent the greatest opportunities.
  • Demonstrate and conduct product trainings, educate irrigation users, and work as an essential member of the Central Europe team.
  • Make Rain Bird the most visible manufacturer to all Contractors in the region.
  • Participation in all relevant events for the purpose of networking and generating opportunities to sell Rain Bird products.
  • This position requires approximately 50% to 60% business travel.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5+ years’ work experience in sales and building successful relationships with customers.
  • Analytical assessment capabilities.
  • Microsoft tools, presentations and database applications (CRM) experience.
  • Dynamic, Self-motivated, team player, results oriented and excellent communication skills required.
  • Full professional fluency in English and German.
