Rain Bird’s Steps to Renovation Success
Experience has shown us that there are five basic steps to
a successful irrigation renovation, and your Rain Bird team
will be with you every step of the way to make sure that the
completed project meets your renovation goals.
Step 1: Assessment
During your course irrigation assessment, Rain Bird’s
irrigation experts will take the time to learn about your
renovation goals, concerns and budget guidelines. We will
walk the course with you to evaluate your current system capabilities
and to enable us to prepare a solution that successfully meets
your goals, is within budget and provides the flexibility
to meet future course irrigation requirements.
Step 2: Proposed Solution and Financial
Analysis
During this step, your team will develop a complete renovation
solution based upon your completed course irrigation assessment,
goals, budgets and timing. We will also help you present and
justify the costs associated with the solution to your management.
Step 3: Design
Rain Bird will partner with you and your other renovation
consultants to make sure the design is accurate and complete.
Our team will also provide guidance and input to ensure the
design offers maximum flexibility to meet your future irrigation
needs.
Step 4: Installation
Throughout the entire installation, Rain Bird irrigation
specialists will work with you, your renovation contractors

Our renovation included the installation
of 2,200 Rain Bird sprinklers to irrigate 110 acres of turf.
Since the renovation has been completed, we’ve seen
a significant reduction in hand watering, and the membership
has been very responsive about the consistent look of the
turf and how this positively impacts playability. Our Rain
Bird distributor worked very closely with us throughout the
