Explore the Rose Parade Exhibit to see Rain Bird's beautiful and award-winning floats and find out how they were made. Other highlights from the Rain Bird archives include the first underground pop-up sprinklers, the first computerized irrigation central control system and the largest impact sprinkler Rain Bird ever produced.
Come along with Huell Howser as he tours Orton Englehart's workshop where the very first horizontal action impact drive sprinkler was invented, then learns how the LaFetra family changed the direction of irrigation. As a part of his discovery session, Huell also heads out to a local golf course to see both old and new Rain Bird sprinklers in action.
