C+ Series Automatic Hydraulic Suction Scanning Screen Filters

The C+ Series (clamp-style) horizontal and vertical are an extension of our hydraulic suction scanning filters filter line. Rain Bird’s C+ Series are offered in both horizontal models that have a parallel flange configuration and vertical models that have a 90⁰ flange configuration, to accommodate simple installation.

C+ Series horizontal water horizontal filters utilize a two-stage screening process. The initial stage consists of a coarse screen for removal of oversized contaminants, while the second stage removes remaining particles, achieving filtration to your specified level. The filter’s backwashing system produces a concentrated high velocity flow to systematically clean the fine sintered screen of any entrapped contaminants. (Note: C+ Series vertical filters only have the fine sintered screen to fit in even tighter spaces).

  • Flush Cycle Duration: 2 – 16 seconds

    • F2-DCL 9V Controller with hydraulic rinse valve.
    • F2-AC Controller with electric rinse valve.
  • Material: Standard 304 Stainless Steel or Duplex Alloy

Models are available as a filter unit only, or as a filter assembly including bypass plumbing and valves for fast and easy installation on site.

Typical Micron Sizing:

  • Drip: 80-100 micron (200-150 mesh)
  • Micro sprinklers (jets): 150-200 micron (100- 80 mesh)
  • Impact sprinklers and rotors: 200-400 micron (40-80 mesh)
