"SHIFT GEARS" EVENTS TO SHOWCASE RAIN BIRD® ROTORS
AZUSA, Calif., (May 13, 2008) - Rain Bird, the leading manufacturer and provider of irrigation products and services, is touring North America to host a series of exciting "Shift Gears" rotor challenge events. According to Mike Hrubiak, Rain Bird's rotor product manager, these half-day, high-impact events are designed to update contractors on how our rotors drive results to their bottom line.
"The Shift Gears program offers irrigation contractors across the country an opportunity to work with Rain Bird's rotors in a creative, open setting," Hrubiak said. "Our goal is to give contractors the opportunity to get hands-on with our rotor line-up. We believe that the product line's performance really speaks for itself. The Shift Gears events are designed to back up our words by letting contractors experience the benefits for themselves."
Rain Bird rotors are known for their outstanding durability and reliable performance in both commercial and residential applications. There's a Rain Bird rotor that's right for every irrigation challenge--from low pressure and steep slopes to windy areas and non-potable water--even areas where vandalism could be a problem.
The Shift Gears events include free food and opportunities to win valuable prizes like a Nintendo® WiiTM game system or a high-definition TV. Contractors can also get great deals on all participating Rain Bird products and enjoy a variety of racing-inspired activities.
Rain Bird can make it easy for distributors to host their own Shift Gears events by providing comprehensive marketing support, including invitations, promotional materials, coupons, signage, activities and prizes. Participating distributors can also benefit from special early-order opportunities. To date, Rain Bird has hosted Shift Gears events in Las Vegas, Houston, Orlando, Dallas, Chicago and Detroit. Future events are scheduled for the Boston and Warwick, Rhode Island areas.
