Easy-to-use residential controller saves contractors time and money

However, it can be challenging for homeowners to master the programming and functionality offered by their irrigation system’s controller after their contractor completes the initial controller set-up and leaves the site. Rain Bird has the answer to this all-too-common situation—the innovative new STPi controller.
Designed for contractor installation and homeowner operation, the Rain Bird STPi controller takes the concept of user-friendliness to a whole new level. Fast and easy to install and operate, the STPi virtually eliminates callbacks to the site, saving contractors time and money. Simple to use “At-a-Glance” programming displays all zone system information on the controller’s display screen and front panel at the same time, enabling homeowners to quickly master the STPi without even reading the instruction manual.
The STPi controller comes in four-zone, six-zone and nine-zone indoor mount models. Homeowners can customize the irrigation schedule for each individual zone, making it a snap to precisely apply the correct amount of water necessary to establish and maintain a healthy landscape. The STPi even includes advanced water-efficient features, such as a Rain Delay option that allows users to suspend irrigation for up to 72 hours during prolonged periods of precipitation, as well as a Seasonal Adjust feature that enables the homeowner to easily adjust the programmed irrigation schedule based on changing weather conditions.
